Umrah 1403 Starts With First Group Sent Off to Medina
The seeing-off ceremony for the first group of Umrah pilgrims in 1403 was held at the Salam Terminal of Imam Khomeini Airport, and the pilgrims, looking forward to visiting the Kaaba, left for Medina.
According to the Hajj Information Base, the first group of Iranian Umrah pilgrims in 1403 in the form of two convoys of more than 250 people, were seen of this Wednesday morning (Shahrivar 29) by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, Head of Iranian Pilgrims and Seyed Abbas Hosseini The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the airline officials and Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Iran, and were sent from the Salam Terminal of Imam Khomeini Airport (RA) to Madina.
This group of pilgrims from the provinces of Kordestan, Kermanshah and Tehran, after a ten-year hiatus, left Iran for Saudi Arabia on an Iran Air flight from Imam Khomeini Airport.
Umrah flights will be made from 16 flight stations to Madina and Jeddah airports.
